Kids examining a specimen on a bug hunt

Bug-Out

A hunt for the tiny animals

Put the devices down

Bug hunts are the best fun there is. A hands-on adventure for inquisitive minds, built to get kids into the local natural world and up close with the creatures most people step right over.

Armed with a bag of proper gear — magnifiers, sweep nets, a big professional bug net — kids lead their own hunt and get face to face with thousands of insects. This wander proves you don't have to go far to find nature. Fair warning: the parents (the bigger kids) get just as hooked. There's always a tug-of-war over who gets to hold the net.
